Wow - SHRM’s 61st Annual Conference in New Orleans is over. What a blast! It was great to see old friends again, hear great speakers, dance around to Sheryl Crow, eat lots of good food, see the beautiful sights of New Orleans, and work hard to make sure the conference was successful.

One of the eye-catching sights in New Orleans is the sculpture “Scrap House” by artist Sally Heller, located outside of the Morial Convention Center.
The sculpture honors the people of New Orleans and was created to remember the events of Hurricane Katrina. The sculpture is made of debris left by Hurricane Katrina.

Earlier this week, SHRM announced the University of North Texas in Denton is the 100th school to adopt SHRM curricula, and that following the milestone other university adopters pushed the number to 110.
